MVPT-3 Motor-Free Visual Perception Test, Third Edition The MVPT-3 is a major revision of the MVPT-R. Features the original test plates and new test plates that are more challenging for those over age 10. Assesses an individual's visual perceptual ability without any motor involvement needed to make a response. New norms are based on a nationally representative sample. An added, optional, feature is response time comparisons and guidelines. Especially useful for those who may have learning, motor or cognitive disabilities or adult drivers who have had head injuries and need recertification. Professionals are able to get a quick, reliable, valid measure of overall visual perceptual ability in children and adults. Subtests are Visual Discrimination, Spatial Relationships, Visual Memory, Figure-Ground and Visual Closure. Testing takes about 25 minutes. The easy-to-use book of test plates has with an easel back. Test administration cues appear on the record form. Extremely easy scoring; no basals/ceilings needed. Ages 4 and up.
