The non-slip rubber mat with its lightly knopped surface provides both children and adults with a safe footing. With the tap-on automatic switch-on function, the scale’s platform is activated by lightly tapping on it. If desired, this function can be deactivated by means of a switch in the battery compartment, ensuring, for example, that the scale is not accidentally switched on during transport.
