The Polyform II® Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint.
This Polyform II® Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint is designed to immobilize the wrist, CMC and MCP joints of the thumb.
The Polyform II® Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint is used for a number of diagnoses, including deQuervains syndrome and gamekeepers thumb, as well as reconstruction of the MCP joint.
Pre-Cut Sizing
The Polyform II® Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint pre-cut splint blanks are ready to heat and mold on patients. Invert the Polyform II® Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint pre-cut form for right or left hand application.
To determine the size of the Polyform II® Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint measure across the second MCP to fifth MCP.
