PEPTAMEN WITH PREBIO is formulated to provide complete or supplemental nutritional support as an easily absorbed oral or tube-fed formula for patients with impaired gastrointestinal function. PEPTAMEN WITH PREBIO is designed for the dietary management of patients with chronic diarrhea short-bowel syndrome chronic pancreatitis delayed gastric emptying HIV/AIDS radiation enteritis malabsorption hypoalbuminemia and cystic fibrosis. PEPTAMEN WITH PREBIO may also be useful as a dual feeding with TPN or as a transition diet from TPN. PREBIO helps to support healthy gut microflora. PEPTAMEN WITH PREBIO is available in the ULTRAPAK Enteral Closed System a prefilled closed system to reduce the set-up time minimize the potential for bacterial contamination decrease waste and provide the flexibility of a hang time of up to 48 hours.
