The PedAlert weight-bearing monitor is ideal for clients with hip fractures, hip replacements, foot ulcers and other conditions that require weight-bearing limitation or weight transfer training. Especially useful for clients whose cognitive status prevents self monitoring. Simply set the prescribed weight-bearing threshold (toe touch to 100+ lbs.). The advanced membrane sensor in the cast shoe constantly monitors the weight placed on the lower limb. Adjustable warning tone signals when the threshold is met or exceeded. Latex free.
