The Ossur's Americas (formerly known as Royce Medical) Air Form® Universal Inflatable Stirrup Ankle Brace combines a full-length air bladder with a flexible shell to provide comfort, compression and support for an ankle sprain. This ankle stirrup has adjustable strapping to control air being displaced through the bladder chambers, while reducing pressure on the bony prominences of the ankle joint. This product is different from other ankle stirrup brace designs because of its overmold technology which combines a soft flexible edge with a supportive outer shell for a more custom fit. The ankle stirrup brace uses "Flex Edge" technology to greatly reduce pressure points on the ankle, and thus increases comfort for every patient. The quick-adjust heel strap allows the air stirrup ankle brace to fit the width of each individual heel shape perfectly the first time. Therefore the need to remove or reapply the product for changes in sizing is eliminated. The low profile, slim design allows this Ossur (Royce Medical) product to fit easily into any shoe.
