This splint supports the fingers, thumb and wrist in a functional and/or resting position and allows simple adjustment of the wrist and thumb. The malleable aluminum frame allows for static progressive splinting. It is easily adjustable as the patient progresses. No tools or heat are needed. The support is lined with a special self-wicking material to control perspiration dampness. Hand washable. Weight: Less than 4 oz. Optional #810 Finger Deviation Strap also available. Indications: Post-surgery/injury positioning, wrist drop and finger flexor tightness. Not recommended when moderate to severe spasticity is present.
Sizing: Measure width of hand at MP joints in inches. If the hand measures between sizes, order the larger size.
