In Search of the Magic Diet explores the reasons why so many individuals seem to be casting about for a diet that enables them to lose the weight when they want to lose it. The DVD provides a historical overview of the usually misguided efforts to develop and promote the ultimate diet. At a minimum, as the DVD explains, these dietary approaches have at least there major shortcomings—no one knows their long-term health consequences, these diets seldom promote meaningful lifestyle changes, and most of these diets don’t encourage a high level of physical activity by the individual trying to lose weight. Finally, the DVD details the safest, most effective ways to lose weight…collectively, an approach to weight loss that constitutes the true “magic diet.” Produced in cooperation with the American College of Sports Medicine.
