Free Hand Desk Clamp. Developed at the well-reowned Bath Institute of Medical Engineering (BIME), this unique desk clamp has been designed for children and adults with the use of only one functional hand.

By using a simple spring mechanism this desk clamp needs very little effort to securely clamp papers to a desk, or sloping writing board, allowing the user to write or draw with ease and accuracy. Simply put the clamp in position on edge of desk or table (maximum thickness 1") and push down on the silver label. The more you push, the more it grips! To release the clamp, apply the same amount of pressure to the lever (as shown in the photo). The clamp can be used equally well for keeping books or woorksheets in place to improve ease of reading exercises. Constructed of steel for durability, the clamp is light (just 4 1/2 oz) and easily portable.
