The Ossur Form FitŪ Night Splint from Ossur Americas (formerly known as Royce Medical) is designed to impart an effective passive stretch for plantar fascitis symptoms located on the bottom of the foot.
Designed with comfort in mind, these splints feature thick padding throughout the shell and straps to control the amount of stretch necessary for effective treatment. The straps impart up to a 10 degree dorsiflexion stretch at the ankle.
The FormFit night splint can be ordered with or without a non-slip tread that adds safety when getting out of bed at night (not recommended for walking). In addition, the padding features a washable Lycra covering that is cool against the skin and easily washable - simply remove the liner and hand wash. An additional wedge that fits under the front of the foot to increase the effectiveness of the stretch is also available for purchase.
The Ossur Form FitŪ Night Splint is easy to apply and provides and effective stretching to the sole of the foot/arch area.
