GenuTrain® Knee Support by Bauerfeind

GenuTrain® is a comfortable, lightweight support designed to help relieve knee pain and swelling during sports or everyday activities. An incorporated silicone insert leaves the patella pressure-free, and provides intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint. This helps increase circulation, aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema. Three-dimensional knit with covered patella avoids window edema, yet keeps pressure off the knee cap.

This support promotes proprioception (balance), giving heightened sensory awareness in the knee for increased joint stabilization. Graduated compression at the edges prevents constriction of circulation and makes for a more comfortable fit. Medial and lateral spiral stays keep the support from rolling or bunching.

The GenuTrain ® is designed for superior comfort, and is anatomically knitted for a precise fit. The fabric is breathable, regulates moisture and is gentle on sensitive skin. The active knit in the hollow of the knee is very fine to avoid irritation. A built-in donning aid allows easy pull-on application with just two fingers.

    Size is determined by loosely measuring:
    Point 1: Loose circumference at 4 3/4" below center of the knee.
    Point 2: Loose circumference at 5 1/2" above center of the knee.
