About the Product
This easy-to-use CD-ROM provides a powerful software complement to the book Back Stability. Written by Christopher Norris, a leading back physiotherapist, this software provides you with a library of 152 exercises including 127 illustrations. These essential back activities are taken from the book and assembled on a Physiotools software platform.
With this CD-ROM you can do all of the following:
Select individual back activities
Customize selected activities to accommodate patient/client ability levels
Develop progressive treatment or training plans
Print hard copies of customized plans for patient/client use
Use the CD-ROM to develop individualized clinical treatment programs for patients and clients with back conditions. Print out the illustrations to share with your patients or clients to develop exercise activities that safely strengthen back muscles. The software allows you to revise the frequency and number of repetitions required for each exercise and to revise or augment the accompanying written directions. When you provide your patients and clients with individualized directions and explanations of their exercise routines, it enhances their ability to closely follow your prescribed treatment or training regimen.
Following the book's organization, the back activities are conveniently grouped into four categories-Establishing Stability, Building Back Fitness, Advanced Back Training, and Training Advice-and arranged by level of difficulty.
Once you've developed a customized series of activities, you can save it and modify the plan when necessary to accommodate the changing needs of your patient or client.
